Hereford Stables - specifications of a standard stable building

All the timber we use is sourced from sustainable forests. It is pressure treated with green tanalith timber preserver which prevents damage caused by rot or insects.

•  Framework - 70mm x 47mm dry graded white wood from sustainable forests
•  External Cladding - 125mm x 19mm Shilap boarding (other alternatives are available, just ask)
•  Doors - 25mm x 125mm TGV lined with WBP ply. Overall thickness 65mm
•  Roof - Onduline roofing sheets (other options are available)
•  Rafters - 125mm x 47mm
•  Lining - option of 12mm or 18mm OSB to 4ft. as standard.
•  Ironmongery - All our hinges, chewstrip nails and screws are fully galvanized
•  Headroom - 2.2m as standard
